the amorphis demo privilege of evil is tuned to fucking A!!! and i think they probably use 9-42 strings or something because it sounds sloppy as FUCK. so it RULES.

I think i just need to get used to it, cuz as if now, I can't here the guitars much, and there is no way I can hear the bass... but anyways, ill just turn up the speakers and start trying to get used to it...

I like it when guitars are tuned down... however maybe not all the time, and I can see why others wouldn't like it. My boyfriend can't stand Dark Funeral (is that the band I'm thinking of? Probably not.) because they're guitars are tuned so low.

Bah, I'm not much for down-tuning. It really depends on the band, I guess, or my mood. Sometimes bone-crushing heaviness is great. Other times it's not. When I play, I usually tune to E or E flat, sometimes D at the lowest.
