Hmm, I wonder how the 3120 is gonna fit into their product line - with an MSRP of $1330, that'd probably give it a street price of $1,000 to $1,100, which is pretty close to the XXX, with very similar features.

I saw (but did not actually play through) a Peavey 3120 at Guitar Center this afternoon. It was tagged $999 and looked and felt kind of chintzy, like the knobs might snap off if in my hand. The sales circular they had pinned up at the entrance to the store stated that the head comes with a free Peavey 4x12 cab ("a $299 value!") and 6L6 power tubes (JJ EL34s, I checked).
