Mike Akerfeldt SE looks nice, kind of odd that they didn't give him a higher end signature model as well. I thought that this year was supposed to be a big turning point for PRS, seems like things are very much the same with them overall, nothing shocking.

On an unrelated note: Fuck Digi. Seriously. I was waiting on a decent announcement about native PT to finally commit to grabbing one of their interfaces, as I'm running out of I/O. This has basically just confirmed that I'll grab an Aurora, keep suffering through Cubase and call it a day. Blugh.
At least the new Slate plug-ins will be coming this way upon release. Cheers YellowMatter.

Just saw Toontrack announced some Slate presets for S2 - NAMM only or something??? Anyway cool to see 'competitors' collaborating like that.
According to a rep, about the only thing resembling the old Butcher is the heavy British/Marshall tone leaning in the amp. Otherwise, it's pretty different.
The rep said - to him - the clean channel is a bit more "Hiwatt" and the drive channels are more Marshall...3 Channel IIRC and MIDI switching.
