One of the commentators that supposedly knows the Dutch team well, said most of the players don't get along well - The white players don't talk much with the 'black' players, and some players from a region don't talk to whoever was born is another region. If that is half true, It doesnt surprise me Van Persie saying that to the coach.

Whose team you guys think will go to the quarter finals ? Spain or Portugal ? I really think Spain has the better team and the WAY BETTER coach. Queiroz is just meh...
 
OK, but his offensive tactics are terrible. Switzerland didnt take a goal on their last 9 world cup games before the Chile game, IIRC, but they didnt get past the 1st round. Del Bosque is just wiser and is more creative with his offense.
 
The thing with Portugal is, the defence is extremely experienced and on paper the rest of the team is good to reach to atleast the quarter-finals... but the problem is that Queiroz is a cunt, his routines are shit, his tactics and game approach are shit as well. I really wanted for Portugal to win against Spain as it's my home country, but unfortunately I don't think that will happen, I'm just gonna watch it naturally without any stress :p
 
My support will be going to Spain tonight purely because I can't fucking stand Ronaldo.

That's untrue. No story here in Holland is going on like that. Apparently there hasn't been a closer team then this team in the last 20 years. There was a webcast on on of the hotelrooms about 2 weeks ago of the 3 of the guys playing PES2010 on PS3. During the broadcast half the team walked in the room..white/black/in between, north/east/south/west all together. So that story is just plain BS..

Van Persie was just frustated. He's not playing his best games, and he explained he wanted to stay in because the last 15 minutes he would get more space to do his thing.

I´m going to support Spain against Portugal just because they refused to play against Brazil (4-5-1) and wasted 90 min of what could be a great match. They wanted so bad to go against Spain, now I want them to regret it lol
Spain is a thougher challenge to Argentina or Germany anyway.

I remember saying at the time during Euro 2004 that Greece would win based on their form in the group, everyone I told this laughed and said I was dead wrong.

Of course when I was proven right I was a "smartarse". :lol:

I said the same thing, from the beggining Greece was playing so smooth and powerful that I knew they had to win. There was a friend going on "Nah man Czecs are gonna win, they´re much more unpredictable and wild, the greek play so mechanichal and to the book". So I was like "so what your saying is, czec rep run around like (very fast) chickenless heads while greece... uhm... plays perfectly?"

Here we go. Queiroz didnt attack Spain, just like he did on Brazil's game, and Spain is crushing 'em. I wont be surprised if the match ends with a couple more Spanyard goals.
 
Queiroz is a fucking cockend. Nough said. He just doesnt take chances, his tactics against spain were rubbish, his substitutions DIDNT make any fucking sense!!!!!! Ronaldo was at some point looking at him just shrugging cause he didnt know how to play, there was no tactics at some point, like wtf! And then there's a lot of politics behind this, Deco was fine, he was never injured it was all just an excuse because of some internal problems, as well as nani, he really didnt get injured. And now in a press conference when asked about the lost Ronaldo just said: "Talk to Queiroz about that" lol... I hope Argentina wins the world cup, favourite team so far.
 
Portugal played like shit offensively, the only thing that saved them from being smashed was in some part the good defensive wall they put up (shows how Queiroz is respected for his defensive tactics) and the brilliant game of Goalkeeper Eduardo.

Go Spain! I'll be happy with a semifinal match, 4th place is good enough for my pride haha
