So... Brazil started off being the way better team. They left no room for the excellent Dutch midfield while pushing for the goal themselves. Robinho was on fire.

They remained being the better team until Sneijders chance-equalizer but instead of pushing hard for the 2nd goal, Brazil reduced the pressure significantly.

Julio Cesar is a great goalie but if you go out like that, you gotta go for the ball with no compromises. Even if that means smashing your team mates (in that case Felipe Melo).

Who is a goddamn idiot btw, up to his (well-deserved) red card, the Dutchies had huge problems generating chances out of the game. Both goals were standard situations.

When he was sent off they finally had the room they needed and consequently Brazil was less and less a threat in front of the goal.

If anything, Holland was closer to scoring a 3rd goal.

I don't think the ref was that "unstable" to be honest (performance wise, he did have trouble with authority). Dunga was flipping in the coaching zone but the ref was right on everything critical. Melo's kick wasn't so obvious...

It wash a harsh game but that came from both sides and Holland will pay for that too as their defence will be further weakened with Van Der Wiel's and De Jong's semi-final suspension.
