Holland 3 - Uruguay 0
Germany so far has been pretty strong. But till now they constantly got lucky to score a goal in the first 5 minutes. Then the rest (other 2 or 3 goals) they scored after the 65th minute when the oponent had to go on full attack. Serbia won from Germany with just playing smart. Holland didn't have any difficult teams so far, as did Germany. Now, against Spain, Germany has the first serious oponent of this tournament that has next to the personal skills, also a well organized team.
I seriously hope we'll be able to win this world cup now. After the finals of 1974, 1978 and the semi-finals of 1998, it's now about time to get it..

I agree with you on everything you said, except that holland should win hahhahaha a Spain-Holland final would be awesome, and a new world champion would be more than welcome

The middle of it I was falling asleep, at 1-1 it was just stodgy and slow in the midfield most of the time.
The goals were interesting obviously but Holland arent a great team to watch at the best of times and Uruguay compounded that I felt. Looking forward to Germany/Spain tomorrow, that should be better.

I think Spain can beat Germany. Even if they quite never go that high in world cup, they are always one of the biggest team, they play well, collectively, and are never disappointing. They can definitely beat germany. They are strong even if they don't win their match with 4 goals.
I love how germany plays this year but just for the sake of it, I want spain to win. I have always liked this team for how they play.
Kose is a hell of a goal scorer. That will be hard.

Uruguay dominated the match. But this is probably the year of Holland so they are extremely lucky, expecially Snejder (like Villa).
And I think Spain will not beat Germany...it's not that easy.

In the first half, when Uruguay sort of 'took over' initiative, de Zeeuw was playing with a fractured jaw and concussion, ouch... I didn't think it was sleep inducing. For 40 years we showed the world how football can be played beautifull, now we've dropped that state of mind and start thinking as the germans, italians etc etc..... play for the victory.
I didn't see Uruguay dominating this game. The possesion at the end was 58-42 for Holland.

No matter what, the quality in the final will be awesomesauce! Im hoping for spain VS holland, but germany is looking too good this WC!
