Burzum
Morbid Angel
Six Feet Under
Slipknot

And a lot more... of course, you really shouldn't avoid any bands, give everything a listen and judge for yourself

I honestly don't dislike metal if it's Christian, I dislike it if it's shit. Trouble and Sabbath were both pretty pro Christian, and let's not forget Stryper (although I wish I could).

Actually, I didn't like Mortification the minute I heard it. I didn't know it was Christian until later.

And I'm talking about Christian death metal, specifically. There are all kinds of Christian metal bands I like though none of them are death or black.

If metalcore's been around since the 90's, how is it trendy? If you think it's crap, great. But trendy?

Metalcore's a misnomer in most cases anyway...in my opinion. Alot of bands labeled 'metalcore' have absolutely no 'core' to them whatsoever.

Despite this thread being a pitiful read, I must commend (with predujice to kill) the initial poster on his original yet highly ineffective approach to this topic.

The more accepted method of finding out what bands are the worst (according to the god-like opinion of those within the GMD) is to post like an excited school girl about how much you love Lamb of God et. al. then wait a few seconds for the hate to roll in.

Metalcore is just a name people pawn off on things that are popular nowadays.
I don't really like Black Dahlia but Shadows Fall and Lamb of God kick arse IMO
People are just using metalcore to bash on all that is popular
