Are we talking about the Apostasy? If so, what is so great about it? Certainly in no way bad, and imo better than Demigod, but it wasn't really exceptional in any way.

Mostly, Arch Enemy's Rise of the Tyrant
I thought that cd was terrible
I never cared for Arch Enemy, but I actually expected this one to be good for some reason

I also agree that United Abominations was a disappointment
Some of the best songs i've heard from Megadeth are on there, but that doesn't mean anything if the cd doesn't flow. Alot of the songs sound rehashed, and I just don't like the feel of it. I also wasn't too impressed by Exodus and The Atrocity Exhibition
Along with Iced Earth's Framing Armageddon and sadly Nightwish's Dark Passion Play.

I thought for sure I'd like the new Nightwish, as they're one of my favourite bands, guess I was wrong.

On the other hand though, Epica's "The Divine Conspiracy" definetly turned me into a big fan of them.

This is why I have backed away from declaring anything but the best brutal death album of the year, which is the only genre I feel I have listened to the majority of the field. Saying what you favorite album of the year though I think is the way to do it, because then you are expressing what you like without claiming to know what you do not.
