2g per potion, or 9g99s99c per stack of 5 =) Cheapest price - goes for 11g+ in AH, as I said - gets wiped out in a few hours every time, I look for more Plaguebloom and Mountain Silversage on my way =)

BTW, Black Lotus surfaced in Eastern Plaguelands - I guess it's extremely rare (goes for 10g+ a piece in AH - what I saw).

And yeah, I ran through Scarlet Monastery yesterday. Lame drops there.

Well, SM's not really useful unless you're an enchanter. I run in about 5-6 mins to the end, kill the boss, grab a blue or two, shard them, and get about 5g per shard.

But yeah, Black Lotus is good stuff. That's how my fiancee makes her gold. We run around EPL, I shard everything, she herbs it all. And she still makes more cash than me. Oh well.

What's the purpose of disenchanting and making shards after all?

You make the shards, put them up on the AH, then advertise that you're selling enchants for their mats + fee. They go, buy your mats, and pay you a small fee for the actual enchantment. It also works if you just hold onto the mats, but I rarely have enough bank space. It also helps if I don't want to stand around waiting to enchant people - I'll just make money off of the mats.

I think the funniest money I ever made was the 2-3g I would make from running RFC as my lvl 30. For some reason, there was a period on my server where Strange Dust was selling for 1g a stack. It was very odd.

My copy of TBC should be arriving at my house while I type this. Ditto for my brother's copy and my fiance's.

I managed to earn about 150 g in the past week through running SM over and over, which is incredibly boring. Only 300g more before I can ride my epic mount. I think I'm just going to try and earn the gold by questing in Outlands.

The three of us are going to start up our BElf toons tonight. Pally, Lock, Mage. Should be quite an interesting group.

Thats completely fucking ridiculous, seeing as you can walk into any Wal-mart and pick it up off the fucking shelf for $60. I pre-ordered mine a week ago on amazon, had it sent overnight for a total of about $55 (for the regular, non-collector's version) and it showed up at my house already.

My farming breakdown:
Scarlet Monastery - Cathedral wing
2x Small Radiant Shard - 2-3g each
3-5 Vision Dust - 1-1.4 g each
random greens - avg of 3 - avg 1g each (got one or two for 5g, including a boe blue I should have sold for 10-20g)
hard cash - 1-2g

Not bad for about a half hour work.

Regular is 40, Collectors' was 75 or so, and x2 price increase is regular. When all the psychos get what they wanted it will go for something like $100 with free delivery.

Actually, it seems like a bunch of the CE's are selling on Ebay at $40, final sale. It seems most people were able to get a copy.

Although there was one amusing anecdote on the forums of a handful of people buying as many games as they could fit on their cards, then trying to sell them outside the store. Except that they weren't working together. So it quickly became a RL auction house.

I found it mildly humorous.

And now I'm gettin angry because my bro isn't around to check his amazon account to see when I'm supposed to get my copy of the game (we bought it for each other, so he already has his.)

Gonna see if my dumbass bro (I overnighted the game to him, and he forgot to pick it up before his college's mail closed for the day) can level his pally to 10 before I get home.

Perhaps we might venture into Hellfire for a little bit, but I think for now this is an alt I might actually play with.
