At first I wasn't sure if you guys were gonna get how the vocals could hook in with the music, but you all seem to have your own ideas, so I won't interevene. My plan was to record another copy with vox so you could hear how it is mean to be, but that'll ruin the surprise of hearing how you guys interpret it.

Might be an idea to spread the choruses out among those who want to partake in vocals. I'm not too bothered personally on this one. It's nice to be able to say the music's mine.

Well, yeah, I would like to say that if anyone at all wants to sing/growl as well, I'm more than happy to share the burden. I don't want people to feel like I 'claimed' the song or something.

As far as how it is to sound, how about I record a version tonight, and then we swap and see what the other thought of, King? Who knows - we may come up with a cooler layout in the end.

We could do that. Although I don't have very satifactory mics for recording vocals. The only bit I've made a decent hook for anyway is the chorus in all truth. The rest of the parts just sort of trundel along in a very "English isn't my first language" way. Still, for the good of the song, I'll record a little template.

Two things I just thought of. We need a name - so far I've been going with Dtumf because it sounds pretty funny when you say it (stands for DT's UM Forum)... and perhaps we should stick with only 'cunt'ish song titles, and not a band name too . Secondly - should we start on the lyrics for a new one, so that other people don't get bored waiting for us?

I say Dtunf (ditunf that is) is great and InsignifiCunt has to be the name.

On other thing. Really short names with U as only vowel are really modern: clutch, ruch, burst, truls, skurk, hurt, but Cunt would be rediculous name.. hahaha

Well I think it's most important overall that it remains tributary to DT and us as forumers... so whatever the name, it has to be instantly recognisable as a sort of Dark Tranquillity fanfiction.

The Tranquillians? Black and Calm? The Calmlingsdarklings? DTones? Dtumf? Black numbing liquid? The Tranquilisers (that maybe with a Z)?

I we go to the bible we are just dark tranquillians and DT are the skydancers.

If we're to be not so humble.. The skydancers? The projectors? The overheads? Razordogs?

I don't think we can use anything containing tranq..

Yeah, just to be extra mincecore, people participating who can get video footage should accumulate documentation on cameras of them adding their share to the song. Include staged interviews with yourselves... then as an extra on the ltd fold out digi-pack edition we can have a making of documentary ... ...

I don't like the name of the band, I prefer the Skydancers, or The Tranquillians or whatever.
