yeah, i gotta ask: anyone got one of these yet? theyre like $500 or some shitz.
i barely play my xbox as it is, so im not really in the market but i was just wondering. actually id rather regress and start playing original nintendo again but thats a different thread for a different time.
or whatever.

a better idea, get emulators and roms for free and play original nintendo games free of cost and dealing with that goddamn "blow on the cartridge" shit.

No and I probably won't get one any time soon. I only got the Xbox because I really wanted Ninja Gaiden and I got the system and 3 games for $150. If I can get the same deal down the line with 360 then maybe. Otherwise, I'm not impressed and I still predict ps3 soaring into the lead when it comes out. Sony has a ton more 3rd party support and it doesn't help that Japan hates Xbox.

Also, apparently this early version of the console has a shitload of defects. Microsoft can't seem to do much right but if they get great games later, my interest might perk up but by the time that happens PS3 will likely be out and taking up my gaming time and $.

haha, "blow on the cartridge" absolutely classic. i wonder where that got started. was it in the owners manual? i mean, i thought *i* came up with that.
yeah, so i dont know what the fuck emulators and roms are. what is they?

I just want a couple to sell to these nimwits paying $1500 each for an early edition with TONS of kinks.

I sold my PS2 a couple years ago. The only time I ever play is with friends and sporting games.

ugh i think IGN has more ads than every TV channel put together. i'll check that Shadow of Joo Momma game out when it's like $15, maybe. it does sound pretty cool though.

i use my PS2 all the time. to play CDs and DVDs. :)

hahahaha holy shit that takes me back. we all had our own unique methods to make those fucking things work, but ALL involved blowing on them.

rent?! doesn't that cost like $4 and you have to give it back after a day? fuck that. :loco:

6 - 10 hours on a video game for me = 2 weeks to let it sit there, play it for an hour, get bored and go read a book instead, pick it up a few weeks later, play it for 2 hours and think "i'll never do anything else in my entire life but play this game," go to bed, go to work, come home and play it again "seriously. my life stops HERE with this game." get to the end, fail. fail a second time. curse the day the world began, let the game sit there for 4 years, one day find it in a pile of Playboys, CDs, and basses, beat the last boss like i was born to do it, watch the ending and forget what the rest of the game was about anyhow so it's completely meaningless, shrug, rub one out, and go back to watching movies on my PS2.

pretty much every reviewer agree that the ps3 will be 10 times (exaggerating) more powerful than the xbox 360

i watched tv this past weekend for the first time in a few months and realized that pretty much everything on tv is designed to look like a video game

man i fucking hate tv so much
