that's what I'd do, if I was going to buy one. It's just like their software, throw it out there on the market and then "fix" everything later with a never-ending stream of service packs and patches and updates.

Everybody needs to feed their egos and go out and buy a console that isn't even properly completed. My buddy stood in line for 16 hours to buy one of the things. I played the system at e3 and wasnt impressed. Could've been the shitty game though. I'll probably end up buying a ps3 in 2009. I don't own a dvd player, so my ps2 has given me my money's worth on that functionality alone. And aslong as the system is compatible with ps2 games it wont be so bad. Apparently the xbox 360 can only play about 20% of all regular xbox system games. What a joke.

yeah, 4 player is where its at. Another fun party game is that mountain biking game they made for PS2. Nothing like careening around on bikes while clubbing the guy next to you witha stick.

yea but at this point the technology exists for it, why would you not do it? for those of us who don't own an xbox it can be a major consideration, cuz you can pick up some older titles that are still great for dirt cheap. not everyone wants to pay $60 for a brand-new game. well, it would be a major consideration if i were planning on buying a 360. which i'm not. so this argument is kinda pointless
