Which band(s) for you? Prove it by listing your collection/shows/merchandise, etc.

I was thinking about this, and contrary to what most people here would believe, I think I'm a bigger fanboy for Agalloch than any other band based on what I own. Empyrium, Primordial, and HoM I suppose are getting there...

Agalloch:

Pale Folklore CD (jewel case with broken teeth!) - btw, just noticed "Dark One" thanked in the liner notes :loco:
Of Stone Wind & Pillor CD
The Mantle CD
The Mantle LP
Tomorrow Never Comes 7"
Agalloch/Nest split
The Grey EP CD
Mantle tour shirt (Heathen Winter)
Stone Wind Pillor shirt (you may have seen me whore this on occasion)
Bootleg from Middle East Club, Cambridge MA
From which of this Oak CD-R

When they cancelled their NY show at L'Amours, Brooklyn, I booked a hotel in Boston, packed up wife and kids, and drove us all from NY to Boston. I left the family at the hotel and went to see the show on my own. I met Joseph from Vendlus Recs (who also handed me a bunch of promos that I dished out to the forum later on), he introduced me to JWW who then introduced me to Andreas at The End (also doubling up as tour manager), and he then introduced me to Haughm. I was given photo ramp access for the entire show.

I also gave away Haughm's guitar pick to Erik. :)

Royal Pinkage!! Together we Power!!

Empyrium

A Wintersunset... CD
Songs of Moors and Misty Fields CD
Where at Night the Woodgrouse Plays CD slipcase
Weiland CD slipcase
Auszuge aus Weiland 7"
Where at Night... 2xPIC 7"
Demo CD-R

Incomplete but very much interested in collecting all the other vinyl. Help.

I won't prove anything by my collection but considering that I spent around 150 euros if not more to see one hour of The Ocean and to take part of a gangbang with Ellestin , I think I am quite a fan .

Same for Negura @ Ieper and they weren't there :loco:

I must say I would go anywhere in Europe for Agalloch , Dredg , Neurosis , Isis and Elend.

If In The Woods... reunite I'd go anywhere :)

Is it okay if i list stuff i used to own but HAD to part with? Otherwise i probably won't bother if i can't.... maybe :/

I am without doubt a Vintersorg fanboy. I own all of the band's albums (which isn't hard, considering he has only 6 releases, all exclusively on CD).

Yea i only have these 2 releases by FotL but i love this band to death. I wish more people thought half as much of them as i do.

That's all i'm gonna do i think. I have the complete discogs of quite a few bands or near enough to it like Cathedral, Danzig, Misfits, Samhain, Amorphis, Nevermore blah blah blah :D

I don't know for sure, but I believe (and hope) to be immune against fanboyism of the most advanced type. Simply put, I can't see myself buying blindly the back catalogue of any band whose one specific release I worship. And I try to be careful not to turn band worship into helpless slavery, i.e. go defend their latest album until the last breath on every board worldwide even when my inner self whispers to me how much it objectively sucks.

Also, except for Elend who have released no demo, I own zero exhaustive band catalogue - that is a soon as I get rid of this signed Dornenreich demo, if anyone cares to bid: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4725111867&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1
