You know you're an In Flames nerd when...

Haha, I remember at DL2006 when In Flames played Cloud Connected, I was in the front row and Anders pointed at me a couple of times and nodded during the song because I was so blatently into it :err: at the time it made my whole weekend, what a fucking dick I was in retrospect :D

I'd be doing the same thing.

It was a special moment, admittedly. Not to sound gay, but I looked up to Anders and In Flames hugely at that time - they'd got me into metal and the lyrics from TJR - Clayman has hugely inspired my creative writing too. It was only the second time i'd seen them, and to know that he'd actually noticed me was a cool feeling :D

Nowadays I'd probably just yell "BOTTLED FUCKING SUCKS" at him :D

I know what you mean, man. I saw them for the first time in Oct. of 2009, front row of an old church of 600 person capacity. Best concert I've been to, even though I haven't been to many. But at the end, I reached up and he shook my hand/high-fived me (I don't know how to say that without sounding lame and possibly gay). Also, there was a short girl that he noticed after the second or third song, and brought her on stage for the rest of the show.

Yeah, this just reeks of homoeroticism. Looking up to men as heroes and BEING a man yourself clearly suggests some homosexual tendencies.

On a side note, I had a similar experience in 2004. I was up front and had a ton of interactions with Bjorn (we both had synched our "FUEEELD" at the end of My Sweet Shadow and started head banging, which was amazing). After the show the band was hanging around outside and Jesper came up to me and said, "Hey! I know you!" (:OMG:) Got to shoot the shit a little with everyone after and get a dollar bill signed by the band. One of the best moments of my life, hands down. That concert is still the best one I've ever been to.

You blame Anders', he blames his ghost!

I just tend to ignore STYE and ASOP, it's easier that way. :)

I can't ignore them because they have made me a bitter and twisted man :D

A cool story!

Haha, my girlfriend is going to be shocked when I advise her that the guys on the ultimatemetal forums have discovered i'm gay... oh well :D

Boyfriend you mean?

You know you're an In Flames nerd when you personally know that the singer before Reroute and after Clayman is the same exact guy.

Are you talking about his dreads?

Yes. I'm talking about his drastic appearance and technique change in the middle of the Reroute era. If you look on Youtube comments of old In Flames videos before reroute, there are so many fucking people saying "Where is Anders?" Cloud Connected's video is kind of obvious that it's him though.
