...Three Day's Grace is actually a really good band. I saw one of their songs on Headbanger's Ball, and it was pretty damn good. They are the first mainstream band to catch my ear in a while.

By the way, I'm a n00b, and I came here to talk about metal. I don't know any of you, but I've peeked at some of the threads, and this site seems cool. Better than the Metal chatrooms on Yahoo.

I actually like some of their cd, though it's definitely contrived crap and sounds like shit in the live versions I heard on the radio. The fact that the 2 singles were produced and recorded in different places than the rest of the album gave me the impression that they wanted the best of both worlds: mainstream poppyness and...whatever else they wanted. My girlfriend got me the cd for some reason, and I haven't seen it or listened to it in quite a while, but they could be worse for what they are.
