You know what I miss? A good fucking guitar solo! After being on this board for only a short amount of time I can tell there is some sick talent here. I would also guess that there are a shit load of guitarists! So let's here it! I think it would be cool for everyone here to showcase their guitar wizardy. So come on, plug into your DAW for 120 seconds and let it shred!

Nah... I can't play solo's to save my life. I'm pretty decent at the slow melodic ones with lotsa feelings, but I can't shred at all. I'm a rhytm guy. There are moments when I relly wish I could shred like hell. When listening to Nevermore for example

Some really nice, TASTEFULL (!) solos in those guys. Really impressed, I thoguht it was gona lead to lots of Malmsteen-esque clips, but it's quite the oposite.
