YOUR albums of the year (2005)

I can't believe how many people think the last Opeth was great, let alone good.

Has GMD been infiltrated by the fanboys from the Opeth forum? Or have all you kids never heard any other Opeth?

i don't think people care...if they release a cd it just gets put on the top 10 list without reason

haha.....actually I've just been recently getting into Opeth, so I can understand what you mean. I know that from being a fan of other bands' early releases and have newer fans come along and praise their latest album. So excuse my ignorance, I've only really only listened to this and "Blackwater Park."

I've been expanding my tastes in music over the past half year, before I would have never liked Opeth at all becaue I was never really into the softer and progressive side of metal, or the clean vocals. But overall, I think it is great album and one of my favourites of 2005....a year of which I gave listen to over 40 albums.

Hey I've been doing the same thing lately! Though I never had a problem with clean vocals, and I still don't really like Opeth. Maybe I'll give them another chance... ...

Do yourself a favor, go back and get Orchid, Morningrise, Still Life, and My Arms, Your Hearse. You'll throw the newest one out too.

Damn straight, we need more pseudo-vikings on the board imo.

Why don't you shut the fuck up? Seriously, no one likes you here, at Royal Carnage, most likely not in real life. If you ever climb out of the fucking basement of your parents house either. In fact, I'd wager my next paycheck that you could off your pathetic self and no one would know until the smell became so unbearable that your mum & dad's neighbors called the police.

I'm hardly overweight, you cunt.

Nor do I "pretend" to be fucking viking. I didn't realize enjoying viking metal equated to that in your limited intellect.

Seriously, why don't you kill yourself?

Because I don't get emotional when I don't get validated by everyone on a stupid internet forum?

Also, you have Valhalla as your location, which is further evidence to the fact that you think you're a viking (since only vikings or warriors get into Valhalla).

I pretty much thought the made in New Jersey thing took care of that. You really do need shit spelled out for you, don't you?

As for validated, LOFL, little boy. When you're done gagging on Erik's cock, come on back to RC. We'll have some fun.
