haha i was just watchin my favorite show american idol. they were in vagas and there was wierd guy on it who did some wierd growels. just wonderin if anyone else saw it.

American Idol,IMO signifys what is truly wrong with American culture. First off, television is absolutely horrible, the only programs I will watch are "24" and The "Shield." To be a contestant on this joke of a show you truly must be a glutton for abuse. The way that Simon Cowl and Paula Abdul, and that other goof destroy these people is horrendous. What are their qualifications? They would 'nt know true talent if it bit them on the ass. Sadly, in the music business today it's all about image not musical integriy. That's one reason why I like Opeth ,they will always remain true to their craft, with no compromise. In America, any thing to make the almighty dollar; so we will put on a bunch of musical losers, destroy any self-esteem they might have had,and then pick a winner and pat ourselves on the back for doing a great thing. Please, God make it stop. Don't let this drek leak into your minds.Peace.

Television isn't horrible. Television is what you make it. There are absolutely horrible tv shows, definitely, but then there are fantastic shows. Also, domumentaries that really are insightful. There are travel shows that are an invaluable resource for spreading world culture in all its fabulous forms; music programs that, although mediocre, publicise artists and thus build their career; there are British comedies such as Black Books, Little Britain and Teachers that are fucking hilarious. Yeah, so TV is over commercialised and mediocre, but a bright mind can make of TV what it wishes.

Hey, I will not dispute anyone's good ideas about T.V. Disgustipated raises some good points. I have more important things to do then search for T.V. programs that are worthwhile. I was just stating IMO, that, in America T.V. is fucking some minds up with all the mindless garbage on it. Young people today need to be more active. Pick up a fuckin' guitar and learn to play. Shut that T.V. off. Peace.

Call me evil or sadistic, but I live for that stuff!! I've been following this show going on 3 years now. I didn't watch the first two seasons and frankly thought the whole thing was a waste of time, but then I caught the third season and was hooked from day one. What fun!:hotjump:
BTW, that Ukraine chick sure had the stripper act going for her, she just couldn't sing to save her life.
