Your Comments on each album...

orchid - Sooo last week, dude.
morningrise - Morning .. rise.. that's gay man!!!!1
mayh - Yeah baby, funeral!!! DEATH!! Thats soo cool!!
still life - Red cover!!! VERY RED!! And plastic.
bwp - About a park, in .. black!!! THAT RULES!
deliverance - Starts with a d. SO FUCKING REPIETIITIVE, THERE ARE TWO RIFFS IN THIS ALBUM ZZZZZ
damnation - Also starts with a d. No growling, no fun! This is for non-metal IDIOTS!!1 No more than 500 bpm with the blastbeats? THAT SUCX!!! COB IS BETTER!!!!!

Orchid - Great debute. Weak structure, but great parts. Timeless classic.

Morningrise - Weak production, somewhat glued together, but at the same time contains some of the best Opethparts ever written up until now

My Armse Your Hearse - This, to me, is the most straight-forward Opeth record, pretty much a metal realease in all its glory, at the same a turning point in the bands sound.

Still Life - My favorite Opeth record. I'm not gonna describe it that much, it's simple very much opeth and pretty damn good!

Blackwayer park - A somewhat relaxed realease, it flows natural and it doesn't sound like they had to force anything on that album. Great work musically this time, perfect structures and some nice soling :]

Deliverence - A great album in many ways. I love the feeling of this one, very dark, the songs work great live, and raw power is more present than on any other opeth realease.

Damnation - This was obviously very refreshing for the band to do, and should be to any open-minded fan to. Soft songs, not that proggy actually, mostly very beautiful and mody instead.

Nest Opeth album - Kickass occult theme concept-album with some of the most stunning riffs made by man

Damnation-Sounds like a rip off of 70's prog. Pretty much what you play if you want to get laid.

its typically not good to talk about things you dont know much about. Damnation's resembelance to progressive music of the 70s is minimal.
Not to mention youre cutting Damnation's credit as a decent album regardless of genre fairly short.
