Metallica's Seek and Destroy has always been my favorite riff. I also like a lot of the AC/DC riffs, they are so raunchy and sleezy. Pantera - Domination is one of my favorites as well.

o and the intro riff to Dream Theater - Home after the sitar is awesome (the mini soloish riff after the first distorted riff)

i'm just very obsessed with Dream Theater right now for some reason

You get one great riff, and just make tons of albums with the same riff in the song, and viola, every album is a hit...


Alright enough kidding, AC/Dc's songs sound similar of course, but each song has uniqueness to it.

As for my favorite riffs - It has to be anything Helloween or Symphony-X produce (Gee my Avatar and Sig give it away)... Or other bands to that effect.

I can list a hell of alot more SX songs but I had to say sea of lies, cuz thats probably their best song, fuckin crazy solo.

I really love The Faded Line. But Mostly coz of the drums.
