I really like this album. It's actually the only album that I've heard of COB's that I've actually been dreading, but thus far it's made the biggest impression me. Since I've had the whole album, I've liked this better than I liked Hatebreeder on first impressions, same with FTR & HCDR. I fuckin' like this, it's more up-tempo, it's more in your face excusing the pun, it just kicks ass.

i dont like to promote metal hammer cos it sucks, but anyone in the uk who doesnt already have all the new songs, this month's metal hammer (with iron maiden on the front) comes with a spinefarm cd the first track of which is Are you dead yet? theres also a warmen track on it.

The album isn't nu-metal at all. But like you said, when you listen to HB or SW you can tell there is magic being made... Each song has that touch to it that makes you want to listen more and find out who these guys are.

The new album (though I really like what I've heard) doesn't do that for me like SW and HB did. I sure am glad I knew about them before hand or else I probably wouldn't take notice of CoB now.

Title track. It starts off with a great lead and then alexi lets out one hell of a long YOOWOWWWWWWW. The lead is then played along with the keyboard. Another weird lead, wicked keyboards.

The verses have awesome chugging guitars and wicked good double bass kicks.

I love the main melody before the chorus. The chorus is catchy...

"Should I regret or ask myself... Are you dead yet?"

Are you dead yet? is group yelled...

More chugging guitars and double bass.

Wicked lead again. I love this melody.

Now comes the kick ass solo... Back into the chorus. Double bass during the whole chorus this time.

The last "Are you dead yet?" 's turn into really long YOWS.

Ok fine. Are You Dead yet has starts off with a really cool riff. The riff is like sick. After that, Alexi is all like "Yaaaaaooooooowwwwww" and it gets all good. Then, there is this melodic riff. Afterwards, there is a chorus which is killer dope. The solo is totally good. The song ends with the instruments being silenced. Hope this helps a lot.
