I have heard ton's of rock player's use these amps and they sounded great even a few jazz player's with the 212 and it sounded amazing.

Just keep in mind it wasn't designed for melodeath! After all it's Van Halen's beast, and it delivers for harder rock just like metal for sure.

About 750euro. It's the same guy that built Lasses 1176. Really good build quality and good support from the guy who did it!!!

Well it isn't night and day difference between the hardware and the Waves SSL. But it is clearer, it dont add that lofi ugliness that the Waves does !!!
and thickens the transients in a nice way.
And It brings up the guitars L/R in a nice way, which means better stereo image.
But then i have only just strapped it on my bus on projects that already are mixed and done. So it will probably be more difference when i mix into the unit.
Liked it on vox to actually. Really smooth and nice, like a hybrid between a 1176 and a La2. I will probably use it for tracking vox and then add some attack ITB with a 1176 plugin. Bu I will for sure buy the 1176 model from Prime acoustics later when i got the money.
