Live in Gdansk-David Gilmour has rapidly attained top 5 status for me. Disc 2 with Shine on, Big Fat Sun, Astronomy Domine and probably my favorite song ever Echoes is chill-inducing.

That's quite a list! Either I'm completely out of the loop, or this is mostly genres I wouldn't check out my own, but I'm looking through that list, and I don't recognize the majority of bands. Where would you place some of that, musically, genre wise?
That's damn impressive though if those are the ones that MADE the list. How many didn't?

Hey Paul! Hope you're doing good, big man! I've learnt you have the new DVD out...gotta check that motherfucker out as soon as possible.
It is a cross-over list...mostly instrumental oriented, there's tons of experimental music, ambient, drone, noise, acoustic music, weird-folk, eletronic music (from minimal techno or industrial to dubstep), post-rock, neo-classical music, and, of course, hip-hop. There are some jazz-infuenced/oriented joints and some world music as well. It basically represents artists and genres that caught my ear the most last year.
How many didn't...many. I was adding and deleting artists through the whole year.
