theres supposed to be a new Insomnium and a New Swallow the Sun this year... both of those are already my top 2 albums for the year without them even being recorded yet

ya cattle deacaptation is a vegan band, they started as grind core, but have moved into a more melodic death with grind core influence direction.

There have been lots of albums that are good, but these are the ones that are truly up there with the best of this decade imo:

New Katatonia song is more than solid.

"Forsaker" is a pleasant surprise methinks I'm always nervous when new Katatonia comes around but it seems promising. Just like most of their songs it's a grower.

Arthemesia - a.O.a. is really impressing me. I had never heard of them before this release, but I'm a sucker for the atmospheric folk/black style, and these guys do it really well. This album will be Top 10 for sure.

Oh, and The June Frost will most likely be in the Top 3. What a great album!!!
