???

Katatonia's TGCD is a sure candidate for the album of the year (9/10). although not as brilliant as VE it's still amazing and a masterpiece compared to Ghost Reveries for example (7/10).

Madder Mortem's 'Desiderata' is amazing aswell. a huge step forward from the earlier, already great albums. i'd also give it a (9/10)

so far 2006 is pretty good

Just curious... aren't you that guy from the Machine Head forum?

Regarding Britney Spears, her song Toxic is one of the most incredible pop tune of the last decade, production wise !
Every producer now knows it i the new standard of avant garde retro pop !

And don't dismiss her classic "Touch of my Hand" song !

Britney is :headbang:

LMAO at calling Viva Emptiness a masterpiece...

but the real reason I am posting is to crush all Rush fan's dreams and let them know that despite the fact that the prog trio is working on new material, they are no where close to recording a new album. Therefore, there is defenitly not going to be any new Rush in 2006. Neil Pert siad something along the lines of "maybe 2007 - but don't hold your breath"
