I really don't know about Isis. The bands you listed, Agalloch, Katatonia, moreso Agalloch, would have my vote any day over Isis. As impressive as Panopticon was, they haven't done anything truly AMAZING for me.

Well, Panopticon gets a much more regular rotation in my cd player than either of those bands. I can pretty much listen to it any time, but I gotta be in a certain mood to wanna hear Agalloch or Katatonia.
