Your Upcoming Concerts

So, what concerts does everyone have coming up? Autumn is usually the best time for metal concerts here in North America, so plenty of good stuff coming up. And hey, you never know, maybe you'll just find fellow OSA members who will be at the same concert as you (or a tour you didn't know was happening)!

Me, i have tickets for the following:

As for me, I just got my tickets last weekend for Within Temptation on September 22nd!

I only have tix for 3 concerts at the moment...

1. Ozzfest 2007 - 8/22, Tweeter Center, Camden NJ (Lamb of God, Static-X, Lordi, Devildriver, 3 Inches of Blood... worth the price of admission!)
2. Machine Head/Arch Enemy - 9/26, Trocadero, Philadelphia
3. Nightwish - 10/16, Trocadero, Philadelphia

And Nightwish was by far the most expensive of those 3 shows, even more than I paid for the Ozzy CD to get better Ozzfest seats! I am also extremely interested in the Static-X/Shadows Fall/3IoB and Lamb of God/Killswitch Engage tours coming this fall.

Of course, of all the bands listed off here, the only one I haven't seen before is 3 Inches of Blood and I can't wait for their 20 minutes on Ozzfest!

Also, I am extremely envious of the shows that BB King's get that don't come down the NJ Turnpike to Philly. I'm huge into Kamelot right now and Edguy always puts on a great live show, but I usually don't have the time or money to get up to NYC anymore!

I'd love to see 3IoB, though i am not really into their new album (Fire Up The Blades). A shame because i LOVED "Advanced and Vanquish". But yeah i still would love to see them live.

No shows on the plate for me...have a pregnant wife to worry about. But I am hoping to make it to Nightwish and Sonata at their respective shows in Philly.

Yeah, I haven't been to Ozzfest since the defiling of Iron Maiden there. However, the lack of cost and number of bands I like there have swayed my hand.

Myopia will be playing on semptember 11th at the Webster Theater in Hartford, Ct. We are opening up for Into Eternity and Edguy. So yes, I will be attending that concert seeing as how I am playing in it.

P.S. Tickets are cheaper if you buy them though us (15$ instead of 20$).

Static-X was just in my town a few weeks ago. I did not attend.

I've known about that band since the days when they were just known as "Static" among the local L.A. crowd, and I didn't like them then either. Oh well. Wayne's a nice guy anyway.

But, have fun Troggy, I've heard from many people that they put on a good live show.

Yeah, I've seen Static-X a couple times before and they put on a really good live show. However, I'm not a big fan of their new album and they are stuck between two bands I wanna see a whole lot more, so they got their work cut out for them to me!

They've just announced Nightwish @ the London Astoria on the 25th March next year , so I'd better get my tickets for that as well soon.

I wanted to see After Forever as well having missed out thank to the shambles that was the Earthshaker Tour but I can't get the time off work and I can't afford it either. Damn! It was too close to Turisas anyway.
