I've been playing SC and Broodwar since 2000 and I'm really excited about SC2 but I don't think it will be as good as the first one. You just can't make the best game ever any better. But I'm definitely gonna buy it and play it.

I was hoping much more for Diablo 3, but this is very nice as well. I was actually on the Diablo 3 forums the day of the countdown, and it was funny to see everyone's disappointment after they announced SC2. I knew it would be SC2 anyway. Why the hell else would they announce it in Korea? That's Starcraft capital right there.

Dunno much about those game, but I know it a sad Thing that Black Isles closed their door as the realesed the wonderfull Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. The Icewindale as well.

after looking at the screenshots, i'm wondering why they took so friggin long to bring us starcraft 1 with different sprites. it doesn't look much of an improvement at all

when starcraft was released it had dated graphics aswell. But SC2 looks sweet in action if you check the gamepay videos that has been released. Blizzard games has never had über graphics though (not counting the CGI videos ), they prioritize gameplay and balance.

I was a serious fan of the original STARCRAFT game.

I played it for a long time until I got YURI's REVENGE.
Then Command & Conquer GENERALS/ZERO HOUR came out, and I stopped
playing SC.

Now... I play Command & Conquer 3.

I've been bitching for a long time that Blizzard needs to get off their asses
and make a StarCraft 2!

They've been busy with all that "other stuff", they have been neglecting the
StarCraft fans!

This is good news, I must go check it out!
