I played it for a long time until I got YURI's REVENGE.
Then Command & Conquer GENERALS/ZERO HOUR came out, and I stopped
playing SC.

Now... I play Command & Conquer 3.

CnC 3 seems cool though, haven't gotten too far into it yet though so who knows, maybe it willsuck too!!!

anyway... SC2 wil kick major ass... blizzard knows too much of their reputation rides on a release such as this, so they can't afford to blow it.

after looking at the screenshots, i'm wondering why they took so friggin long to bring us starcraft 1 with different sprites. it doesn't look much of an improvement at all

You mentioned graphics as an improvement WHERE? Thought so.

Not only have the graphics improved, but so has the gameplay. Features like a physics engine and being able to climb/jump over terrain is going to make a HUGE difference during gameplay. Oh, and that Protoss mothership looks SIIICK.

Blizzard generally doesn't screw around too much with their in-game interfaces. Why bother butchering a good thing? Anyways if they can conjure up a story as good as SC1 (which is essentially just the Warcraft system in space, so any of you guys complaining about Blizzard not delivering anything radically new clearly don't know much about how this company operates to begin with), this game will be awesome.

YOU ARE CRAZY.

"C&C GENERALS Zero Hour" was THE BEST RTS war game.
It is very well-balanced, (had) the best graphics, and skirmish games give it infinite replayability.
I don't usually do the "campaign" thing, or the "on-line multiplayer" shit.
I just like to fire it up, setup a skirmish game, and FIGHT!

lol, don't get me wrong. I'm not a mac user. Our constitution forbids it. It's just my laptop PC is not powerful enough to run new games. I like to play old abandonware sometimes, though.
