What it is to do with is production, Katatonia are producing themselves (to a certain point) , there is nothing wrong with that but expectations are somewhat warped as a "producer" may have made decision to assist the albums makeup.

It could have been one of the best rock albums ever made, thats whats sort of unfortunate, it was almost there.

It's good to hear people enjoying the album. Like most katatonia it feels one of uncertainty as to how one will feel over listening time. For me though there is no real song that grabs me in a teargas way many more feel more like deliberation or evidense. I love the album it however is not...

Yes I am a New Night fan, definitely one of the best songs. And the most Katatonia song on the album in my view. The Lyrics in the chorus are almost Discouraged ones

I am sure Anders is reading this, I can only think he must be quite concerned or upset. But to be fair most Katatonia fans have nothing but great comments and views towards the work Katatonia do. I think it is time for Katatonia not to give into fans but to sort out their image if they want...

They are going very Tool with their style here, however I do realise that a lot of us get a very clear personal meaning from Katatonia and earwigs and gothic chicks aint it. However I do like the day and night changes. I think the video should have concentrated more on that and given us shots...

This album is nothing if not just a pure feast. What grabs me mostly is that unlike viva and tgcd is tha there are a lot of top quality songs ie at least 7 or so that I love I only really liked my twin and deliberation of tgcd. Not saying I did not like the rest but nitnd is a killer for quantity.

This is definitly not TGCD. Although it develops on the idea. It is not pre viva either. But it shows Katatonia writing quality songs again that I felt somewhat vanished a bit after LFDGD. Is it their best? Well yes I guess it is, but its not my favorite. Thats the difference and why...
