I see solos as icing on the cake for a song. I can't stand guitarists that just solo always, it starts annoying me. I like some 'sustain' you know!

I can't just solo for along time. Maybe If I was an amazing lead guitarist my opinion would be different. One day I'm going to walk into a guitar store and just solo because it sounds like you're showing off just to make other guitarists feel bad. Some nu metal guitarist will be like I suck.

Guitar is very important in music and alot of people forget it.

Someone should post vids of guitarists playing to themes in movies, cartoons, and video games. I remember this one person that could do a mario theme from regular nintendo on guitar. One of the most funny things ever mainly because this person was so nerdy they would actually attempt it and the fact i've never heard of such a thing done on guitar.
