The album is pretty good but nothing amazing. That is the curse of vintersorg. Solens rotter was close to amazing but fell short, and jordpuls was very disappointing. He will never top the first four releases.

Wait how many albums did this guy release? I stopped at Ödemarkens Son, which was great. Pretty sure I heard the follow-up to that one and didn’t like it much. I thought he’d put the project in stand-by ever since because of his haircut or whatever?

no he keeps on truckin', but as i said, literally nobody cares anymore

'odemarkens son' used to be my favorite album of all time and i would still rate it as a solid 8/10 album. it's his only release that i would recommend to someone who isn't especially fond of this sub-genre of metal. 'cosmic genesis' has some incredible melody but it was the beginning of that prog-type crap that he really just couldn't pull off.



^ this is a good song... his clean vocals sort of piss me off these days though
