this is pretty cool ... was funny as I could 100% imagine how the vocals would first kick in and how they would sound ... and there they were.

Yes and no, there are a lot more mid- to up-tempo parts and some very juicy, even Sabbathian riffing that blends wonderfully in the rest, while some moments really sound like the funeral doom answer to Blut aus Nord's latest. It's very dynamic, lots of contrasts and mystical at once. I'm impressed.
