Dude, listen to those classic riffs/guitarwork and that guitar tone....THAT TONE. It's a great melding of various good genres. I dig the fuck out of it.

I can see ppl being turned off by the vocals I guess. I enjoy the contrast although he could switch it up a bit sometimes.

Why? What else has he mixed and mastered? I love the way the recording sounds. It's very organic and and you can hear every instrument clearly; great separation of instruments. The audible bass lines are great.

What bands is he in?
