Yes switched. Neal obviously kneed Marchand on purpose, he had time to move and Neal are known to be a head-hunter. Thornton did jump on Orpik but for the last time, Orpik can't be THAT hurt from two punches with gloves when Thornton didn't even swing his arms to get some power. 5 games for the jump on and 15-20 games for kneeing in the head is fair.

The injury is irrelevant, he went after Orpik, knocked him down to his back and THEN swung on him, that's kind of a big deal. But not much else to say except your avatar is weird as fuck

Really? Bullshit! I slammed Thornton and have no prob with the suspension. Yes Marchand can be a douche and the B's have their share of slip ups. They dont mind mixing it up and when shit happens they sure dont sit and bitch about it like some teams. For a physical tough team they handle themselves the right way overall. They have had guys dropping like flies lately due to injuries and cheapshots, yet they have guys step in the team has stepped up. I like it alot, they keep grinding and winning...not whining. Nothing sneaky here and no karma.

Not for nothing, but Thornton seemed sincere with his apology and regret, as Neal came off as a douche like he did nothing wrong. A reflection of the teams imo.

Yeah that game a horrible defensive game for the habs who are among the best in GAPG.

But I'll say it again though, the West teams are much bigger and stronger with boardplay. that's a huge advantage against Eastern teams.

He's 14 goals ahead of Selänne right now in NHL career totals, pretty interesting how close it is. I think both of them want to finish as the highest European goal scorer and that's why they both played another season. Unlike Jagr Selänne has been terrible this year though, even getting benched some games.
