Hawks looked a little rough against the PP, but everyone looks bad against Ovechkin sometimes. The offense was explosive. Kane just looks like a threat to score every time he has the puck. The FNG made a terrible, terrible penalty late game, but Crawford figured out how to use his glove, and he got it done.

The game was exciting as hell. I love the new smaller cage rule. More room behind the net is great. It should boost offense for sure. It feels like the season is starting so soon, but I'm stoked.

If you can shut down the first line (and teams like Boston are good enough) the Wings aren't doing anything at all

Not really. Their Goaltending sucks, their D is still fairly weak, and their forwards are still young and immature (you can often see them stay on the ice way too long). I mean they have a good powerplay...

Dubnyk is at least a Reimer i'd say, D has some talent with the Schultz/Smid/Ference definitely enough talent on those 2 to make the playoffs, offense is great on paper but I haven't seen an Oilers game in awhile maybe I should check it out since I just wasted money on gamecenter package
