Waking the Cadaver are pretty crappy. They're like a shitty high school garage band masquerading as a legitimate band. At least if they were just a shitty high school garage band you could say 'maybe they'll get better with time'. I think we're past that point.

I'm much the same. Also, living in New Zealand I'm not exposed to much Metalcore or whatever shitty "metal" band is flavour of the month. I'll agree that Lifelover is fucking horrendous (as are the others, but I particularly hate Lifelover) and I absolutely abhor Alcest. Worst bands of the decade though? I doubt it.

Also, Xasthur sucks. Fuck Xasthur

I don't really know what the worst 5 bands of the past decade are. There's so much metalcore and nu metal that I hate. Almost all of it, in fact.

Avenged Sevenfold would be my nomination for the worst. As for the other four, Bring Me The Horizon + friends will do.
