My intention on starting this thread was to get some reaction about my friends, "From Pit Bull to Poodle" comment. And, you know what, Scott said he got it. Plain and simple.
From opinions to fact:
1.) The number of bootlicking, sycophantic, "Anthrax can do no wrong", Shitheels has grown exponentially since April 1, 2005. Before that time there was contention, debate, rancor, and some mayhem, but nothing like this board now. Lots of the good posters, were driven away or can't stand the most radical of the pro-reunion bunch. Relax fuckers.
2.) Whether you are pro-reunion/anti-reunion/ambivalent reunion, it's all about the $$$. Read the interviews. Read between the lines, do the research, yourself. John, Joey, Danny, and especially Scott...have made it abundantly clear...it has to be this way, for them to go on. No matter who got boned in the process. It's all the same to me. Hey I go in to work, for money, as well, not to meet new people and expand my mind. But to deny 13 years (of what most consider their best and most mature work) is beyond me.
3.) If (when) they announce---officially, mind you---that they are recording a new album with Spitz & Belladonna, I will be out of here. As will the majority of fans who stood by them between 1992 and 2005. So be it, no big whup.
4.) When (if) they release an album with the 1980's lineup, and it fails to sell over 100,000 copies, I think it will be obvious to all (even the most brain-dead, ass-licking, numbnutted pigfuckers out there): the 1980's ARE OVER!!!
