Oh, and the Booker's bourbon, barrel strength. I still havent opened my bottle. The few times Ive had it though were gaymazing.

It is an easy-to-drink malt that works well as a daily dram, but it lacks distinction. There is nothing wrong with it... it just doesn't have anything special. Even poor quality malts have something that distinguishes them. This one doesn't. It is pleasant and easy to drink, but doesn't differentiate itself in any way.

This is my favorite place ever for whisk(e)y. About 25 minutes from me, down the street from my father's house. I need to stop in more often. Just noticed they have Buffalo Trace for $21.99 and Rowans Creek for $27.99. Shit, I pay $28 and $38 respectively for them at my usual spot. Their single malt selection is INSANE. They dont list them all in the prices. This is one of te only places nearby I could find Pappy/Rip Van Winkle stuff on the regular.
