All For Me is great... it's as good a blend of old and new styles as you'll find on the album, I particularly love the mid-section with the melodic guitar and Anders' clean vocals.

I remember listening to scream and bottled for the first time and I could not even sit through the first 40 secs of it.
You must be mistaken... In Flames oldest album is called "reroute to remain" and was released in 2002. It features old school melodic death metal classics such as Cloud Connected and Transparent. I reckon you're thinking of a different band mate.
