Hi, my name is Erik Plith and I am a 24 years old law
student at Uppsala University in Sweden. I will be
spending the upcoming academic year as an exchange
student at Boston College, and I am therefore seeking
a place to stay during my time in the United States. I
got your name through the Off Campus Housing Office,
and I would like to know if you could consider having
me as a roommate. I have no pets, don't smoke and am
used to study hard as well as socialize with my
friends when time is given. I am also easy to get
along with, like to exercise (preferrably running) and
to read.

Should this be of any interest to you, or if you would
like to know more about me, don't hesitate to contact
me.

I envision this six-five Nordic specimen wearing an early-eighties running outfit (those silly short shorts, terrycloth headband, et cetera) listening to black metal while he plays tennis.

Do Swedes eat weird foods?

to be truthful, they sound kind of gay :erk:

and this is to the ears of a Norwegian who fully understands it..

:Spin:

note: I found it hilarious when Mike Åkerfeldt of Opeth spoke Swedish to me.. certain words just sound way too weenie to come out of the mouth of a monster growler such as him

haha i just got an email back from an English guy who'd emailed me last week:

"Sorry, but $475/month is too much for my budget! Thanks anyway."

I wonder if he'll come crawling back when he finds out that $475/month is stunningly cheap for Boston?

friends of mine who have had Swedish roommates have told me that they have all been clean and well-behaved. as for the silly-sound speaking, well that's another story. and it's usually the germans who wear the silly out-of-date running gear.

just beware the Finns. they'll stab you in your sleep.
