All finnish "mainstream" beers taste almost the same with very small differences. Karhu's the best though. If I could, I'd drink mostly ales (especially Newcastle Brown), but as they're imported stuff and hence expensive, I've to stick with home made wine and occasional Karhu. From hard alcohol I usually concentrate on Vodka and similar, but others go too.
Wine is just spoiled grapejuice... Only worthy wines are either home made or if bought, it's white, dry, doesn't have a real cork (so that I don't need to carry that damn screw around) and it's cheap. (=in finland, that means that you get two bottles for 10 euros)
