"One week ago Alexi had the worst luck. He tripped at a bowling alley and
his shoulder was hurt. Something is broken but it's not serious like the
accident two years ago. He has to be careful 'cos the shoulder will be
sensitive for a while. 6 weeks of no guitar playing -
doctor's orders. This means all the activities planned to happen
within the next 5 weeks have to be cancelled. We can have a break from
rehearsals but what breaks our hearts is that we are not able to perform in
Desert Rock (Dubai, U.A.E.) in March 2007. That festival was something we
were looking forward to but it just can't happen.

When you are an entertainer, you must realize that you are always performing, and might have the least bit of notice to get into character in front of a potential fan. It's his responsibility to remain in performing shape. So yes, his antics have become a burden.

well. when your a metal band whom is all male, and your finnish...and you like to drink alot, falling and hurting yourself on several occasions is expected. the fans should just wish he is okay and hopefully understand. i just think its pretty funny.

Hmm....they say having a life changing experience like a knock on the head that causes amnesia can be reversed by a similar incident. Sooo...My theory is...get alexi drunk as hell... and push him off a car again...well, actually maybe a house, I'm thinking it will decrease the margin for error and then he should snap out of it.

I just hope he doesn't feel too bad. Alexi's health is the first thing that matters, not the fact the fans wanted to see him. I know if Bodom had to cancelled a gig I would have waited for I'd be really sad, but since we can't change it, let's just accept the fact and wait... Poor Alexi, he must feel so fucking bad, 1st his shoulder must hurt like hell plus he can't play guitar...
