All time classic alums that you feel are somewhat overlooked

I know of Black Pyramid as well. They aren't overlooked at they. They aren't that great to begin with so...

Personally don't think many people are into the psych/heavy rock of the 70s..this album is just amazing though.

I love heavy psych, and the genre is definitely overlooked, but I'm not sure that album is overlooked in psych circles. Great stuff though.

captain beyond rules. i quite enjoyed the recent admiral sir cloudesley shovell album which riffed on them quite authentically.

do you know dust, rms?

edit: i've heard this song a lot and still i can never believe quite how good it is. best song of the entire seventies maybe.

Yeah never caught on with that album though, i'll give it another listen now. Sir Lord Baltimore..Shinki Chen and his several projects, Randy Holden, Leafhound, Armageddon, all amazing stuff.

that dust album only really has 2 great songs. that's a problem with tons of albums from that period though.

high tide's SEA SHANTIES is pretty much the holy grail of heavy psych IMO if you haven't heard it.

yeah forgot High Tide..one of my favorites. Atomic Rooster, Toad (tomorrow blue is an absolute monster), Flower Travellin' band..man I haven't been this inspired to find music in awhile. Just got about 10 cds off the net and listening to some new ones.

On the first release now..pretty sick.

Suicide? Ivory? Walk in the Soft Rain? Learning to Die? That Dust has many great songs.
