If you want to describe something then you can say: Se on (It is) suuri/pieni (Big/small).

If you want to describe it with more than 1 word you could say: Se on suuri JA (And) punainen (Red)


A normal and simple finnish sentence goes like this

(Who/Subject?) Minä/I (Verb) haluan/want (What do I want/Object?) karkkia/candy

The Sybject and Object I put a ? after them because I'm not sure If They're right.
Subjekti = Subject (I'm not sure if the word "Subject" is used in anything related to grammar in english)

Objekti = Object (Same as above)

I was studying today, and I have a few doubts about writing. the word "minä", sometimes I see it spelled "mina" without the ¨ marks on the 'a'
Is it correct or is it some mistake?
Is there any rule so I can know when I should use the ¨ mark?

It's always minä, not mina. Mina doesn't mean anything in finnish.
