The finnish, along with other scandinavian country's education system is very famous if you didn't know it. Top graduates but still success in school doesn't depend THAT MUCH on social status and parent's status like here in germany.

And yeah, there where these shootouts, but we had 2 shootouts here too in the last few years. And it's foolish to think that every finnish school now is destined to be shot up by someone.

anyways, regarding high suicide rates; remember that norway (and nz) have aprox. 5 and 4 million inhabitants respectively, so naturaly if emo's start flipping out over the injustice of shelter, family, plenty of food, and other things that get in the way of their master plan of sadness, it has a bigger impact on the countrys inhabitant count, than feks the 300 million of america

Regarding weather;

We have the gulf stream all, horny outside the border of our country, so summers are warm enough for me, between 20 and 30C on the better days, depending on the conditions and where you are. Bunch of grey days too though, but i like them- Winters are an other story, but it gives a dynamic weather, so win for me!


I like Norway.. It's not PERFECT, but its good enough for me to not really find a reason to move to an other country.

^True. Finland is NOT a part of Scandinavia and has never been. Same here with the weather. It's Approx 20-30 Celsius in the warmest time of the summer. Otherwise around 22 C id say.
