Actually there are numerous transitional fossils not to mention compelling evidence from genetics that strongly indicate common descent. Of course all of these facts while strongly indicating common descent do not prove HOW evolution only occured, they merely indicate that evolution (macro that is) did in fact occur. Even Michael Behe who is probably the leading and most articulate spokesperson for Intelligent Design acknowledges that common descent is a fact. His belief however is that the major evolutionary leaps could not be the product of random mutation and natural selection.
How can we explain miracles? I am not only talking about the jedo-christian god? But there have been things that are trully miracles that are not science. There has to be something after death.

It's about time someone explained it like that!
People seem to forget the attrocious things Christians have done throughout history, surpassing even current day Islamic "events" for disgust. Even worse, against their own kind (Cathars). Yet today, it's so easy for the majority to think "oh the poor people who had their church torched, oh that's sooo bad", purely because the aggressive religion in 2007 is Islam and not Christianity. All I can say really, is suck fucking shit, it's well deserved. It's a reminder that Christianity is just as bad as Islam is.
Edit: only a couple of good things are borne of these religions: their art, music, and architecture. And really when you take a closer look, even these factors are not borne of religion as they are a deep devotion to faith as an entity.

there have been only a handful of healings supposedly linked to Lourdes, and this is out of millions and millions of people who have visited the site for many years.
a person magically regrowing a lost limb or something has never been documented.
edit: the Lourdes Bureau requires the healing to be instantaneous...it has to happen right then and there (not weeks or months after visiting) for it to be declared a "miracle". A person is more likely to get sick from visiting the shrine at Lourdes than better.
My Christian family's told me of thier miracles as well, I don't believe them though. Like whenh my grandmother was having surgery a man came in and prayed with my Dad and Aunt and he left and my Aunt went to the door to look outside and he was nowhere, they believe he was an angel. Same thing with my grandfather's Near Death Experience, he saw the Pearly Gates of Heaven but they're both scientifically explainable things, NDE's are proven to be oxygen leaving the brain, scientists do the same thing in a lab that NDE's do to yuor brain. Even if NDE's were real, all religions would likely suffer because Atheists and Agnostics have gone to Heaven in NDE's and Evangelical Christian preachers have gone to Hell in NDE's, and NDE's go along with your religion/culture, Hindus have totally different NDE's than Christians, so if NDE's are real it really doesn't mater what you believe in. I don't believe NDE's are real.
