Just tried those KSE settings from the studio pic on Red ch. Sounds fucking great...and i am playing through a 4x10!!

nah cleans and overdubs and all podfarm.

think it was one of the marshall models for the kind of broken up/clean guitar sound.

Hey Machinated! The KSE Settings sounds very VERY nice. Was this clip quadtracked or just one track per side? If it was quadtracked, can you share the panning and volume settings?

quadtracked, 2 each side. both at the same level and 100% panning.

i actually worked on the mix a bit more today, reamped guitars with more normal settings. thoughts?

IMO the KSE settings sound more ballsy. It's got more high end where as the new tone sounds a little muddy to me.

btw it's an awesome fucken song dude. Does your band have myspace?

yeah, but no new songs on it - still no singer! its www.myspace.com/machinate but it really needs updating etc which will happen when we have a full line up.

I liked the KsE style tones clip the best...However I think if you just upped the presence or treble in the last clip, it would be my favorite....And, if you just upped the gain a bit on the first, I think you would have maintained the tightness and gained a bit of thickness (as well as more saturation obviously).

in the last year, as a band we have written like 6 songs which is pretty damn slow. but one pays the bills and the other doesnt....
