ANTHRAX Drummer Says DON NELSON Period Was 'A Very Bad Emotional Rollercoaster'

Nelson didn't shit on anyone. According to the urban legend, it was actually FRANK who took a crap on Dan.

It was posted here maybe ten or twenty times, but I'll waste my time just for you.

from Blabbermouth, for example:

He might not of shit on no ones back, it could of been the other way around but i truly belive this statement from a reliable source:

The REAL reason he is "sick" is because he went top shelf on the band tour bus. They couldn't figure out why it smelled to high hell for several weeks. They changed the waste tank and even considered dumping it over an overpass of Dave Matthews fans on a Chicago boat. Alas, they couldn't find the smell and simply put - who thinks to look in the bowl above the toilet??

This is where Dan Nelson roasted a massive pipe and it pissed the rest of the Anthrax members off so much, they fired him

Frankie Bello did take a shit on Dan Nelson out of pure anger not to prank him back, when Dan woke up out of his whiskey coma he had a roll of toilet paper, a envelope with $1000.00 dollars and a note signed from each band member saying, " Dan, your not funny and frankie took a shit on you to prove a point, use the toilet paper to wipe the shit off and the tears away, use the cash to buy a ticket back to new york, your fired, Signed..ANTHRAX.

Rough way to wake up, almost mustaine style but not because in all honesty what the fuck did he expect, the word funny does not come to mind when I hear about somebody having their back shit on while they're sleeping.

How about this:

Dan Nelso was booted from Anthrax because he couldn't tour europe. he has outstadning weapons charges and was caught trying to bring a firearm on a plane !! and this is from Mike Monterulo (anthrax' manager)

From what I've personally heard from a guy who claims to be Dan's friend, Scott had told him that the flights were delayed, he was at his nephew's baseball game and then he learned about the press release, the rest of the guys weren't answering his phone calls.

From BLABBERMOUTH comment section:

I'm a friend of Dan Nelson and let me tell you some of the things that happened.

* Dan Nelson challenged the quality of the song writing when he became a member of the band. He did this in a respectful manner, but to his ears the new material was not as strong as previous Anthrax material. Only one who loves Anthrax dares to say this to Scott's face, but Scott being Scott wouldn't listen to the criticism. But actually the rest of the band supported Dan, but when push came to shove who do you think they sided with? The money of course. Dan said, okay, let's do it, and let's look forward to a brighter future, but the relationship between the band members had broken down, and Dan being Dan left the band. He might be a nobody but he has his artistic integrity!

Also, Scot's girlfriend became close friends with Dan. They both shared an interest in Egyptian art and several times they went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Do you think Scott liked this? Of course not. He hated it.

I've talked on the phone with Dan today and he just wants everybody to know that he wishes Anthrax all the best. "Life has it's ups and downs, its dramas and fights, that's just the way it is."

That guy is obviously lying, since Dan himself said he was at some sports game (I call it sport, it was some shit you Americans do, like basketball or poofball or whatever) when he found out Anthrax had released a statement saying he'd left. He said it himself he didn't quit.

"to his ears the new material was not as strong as previous Anthrax material"

omg

just record an AC/DC cover-album and call it 'Who Shat Who'

Since Nielsen SoundScan began to track music sales in 1991, AC/DC have sold over 26.4 million albums, making their sales figures third only to The Beatles and Pink Floyd, outselling both The Rolling Stones and The Who. Over the last five years, as CD sales have declined in general, AC/DC albums have sold just as well or better. They sold over 1.3 million CDs in the US during 2007 despite not having released a new album since 2001 at that point.

AC/DC is religion to some people. When they're disc gets too scratchy or lost, they buy a new one. A blues riff, three chords, a sleezy beat, and balls. Nice formula they've been able to tap into for years.

I know I'm a cheeky cunt, and I don't mean to be here, but....
what's your point?

Somebody mentioned AC/DC and I thought it was an interesting fact that the internet hasn't affected their sales.

Ah, ok. Well, the weird thing is - AC/DC albums normally don't even come with lyrics or shit. I own all of the old LPs and all you got was a fucking white bag apart from Dirty Deeds and Fly on the Wall which had the lyrics.
So, if people are still paying for AC/DC stuff, you have to imagine it's because they're older folk (like my mum) who don't like doing stuff illegally.

If you need to buy an album then you'd think it would come with long liner notes or something (a la Nile). IIRC my Deicide Stench of Redemption CD came with "art prints" or something (just photos of the band). Maybe I'm gettting confused with Led Zeppelin's In Through The Out Door.
