First off, let's get the facts straight: We are talking about what they advertise on the website. It has nothing to do with the forum, their reviews, or anything else. So this isn't about their entire site, only about what they choose to advertise.

Now, did you honestly miss the part where the website accepted money as it's only criteria for advertisement? Re-read the last page or so again if you need to.
 
How can you judge a site's integrity without taking into account its forums, reviews, etc? Either you're retarded or you're setting up a strawman.

I agree totally. As much as I like black metal, if it is all you can listen to because everything else isn't as evil then you really need to GO OUTSIDE... and not into the feeble forest.

And the idea of American's trying to be like Burzum. HAHAHAHAHA. That fucking makes me laugh so much. I think 95% of those people need to sit down and understand why black metal even exists. Then they have to look at their own lifestyles and understand why it just doesn't fit with Suburban America.

WHat does this mean? That you need to be a tree worshipping Euro-moron to get the deep meaning of That Which Once Was all the while playing a "my pals instrument"?

I just feel I need to hear the explanation come from a Scandinavian (or European), because, you know, they're much more in tune with this than me, a meager American Suburbanite.

Interestingly enough, I live in Suburban New York of all places(perhaps the mother of all Suburbias) and trees, birds, and indeed...bear shit abound!! And goddamnit I do enjoy 'grim' Black Metal, so go figure. Funny post though!
 
ANUS is very useful in finding good music. But, you have to ignore their negative opinions, as it goes like this. If a good band releases a album that fits their ideology, it is a good album, otherwise it is a bad album. Take Death. They love human, but the albums after that absolutly blow, and they rip off cynic, and blah blah blah. Of course, human, which had members of cynic in it, is completly original. Actually, what they hate about the following albums is that the philosophy shifts away from theirs. Then, of course, they, with mistaken concepts of whats commonly percieved to be quality diction tying to intellegence, possess an abhorable and ill conceived tendency to present all manners of shallow inconclusive arguments couched in excessivly pretentious rhetoric that serves to underlie their egoistic delusions of righteous vanity. It makes me sick.
 
i wish it was cause thats bullshit. Death's whole catelog is great. Speaking of Death and ANUS, why do they think Chuck Schuldiner died of AIDS. WTF? He died of cancer. Fucking retards.
